Richard Stockton (10-4-2, 3-2-2 NJAC) made the trip north to Ramapo and came away with a 1-1 tie against the Roadrunners (8-2-3, 3-1-3) in windy conditions. The Ospreys increased their current unbeaten streak to eight games (6-0-2) with the result.

Rafael Duarte (Ocean City/Ocean City) scored a goal for the fifth consecutive match, with a total of seven goals during that span. Goalkeeper Tim Brett (Palmyra/ Palmyra) made nine saves to increase his personal unbeaten streak to eight.

Duarte gave Stockton a 1-0 lead at 34:30 with his team-high 12th goal of the season. Sal Pistone (Blackwood/Highland) earned his first point of the year with the assist on the scoring play. The Ospreys held the lead for 40 minutes before Ramapo scored the game-tying goal with 15:26 remaining in the second half. The Roadrunners’ goal snapped a 206-minute shutout streak for Brett and the Ospreys.

The rest of regulation and two 10-minute overtime periods were scoreless, but not without chances by both teams in the final minute of double-overtime. Duarte ripped a volley shot that was stopped by the Ramapo goalie. Brett then was forced to make one final save and the Ospreys successfully defended a corner kick in the closing seconds as the teams settled for a 1-1 tie.
