Richard Stockton (2-14) outscored the Mustangs from Stevenson University (8-10) in the second half but came up on the short end of a 5-4 loss. Susie Balidemaj (Hamilton/ Hamilton East), Alicia Leadbetter (Franklinville/Delsea), Alison Paulus (Westhampton/Rancocas Valley) and Jenny Carpenter (Egg Harbor City/Absegami) all netted goals to bring Stockton’s total to 10 markers in the last two games after being shut out in the previous two.

The Ospreys lone goal of the first half was the 10th of the season for Balidemaj, but Stockton trailed 4-1 at the break. After the Mustangs increased their lead to 5-1 in the second half, Stockton started its rally. Leadbetter, Paulus and Carpenter scored goals in the last 14 minutes to get the Ospreys within one, but time expired before Stockton could complete the comeback. Paulus’ goal was her first goal of her career and Susanne Anzabi (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) assisted on the tally. Stockton goalkeeper Debi O’Kane (Cologne/Absegami) made five saves in the game.
