Richard Stockton extended its unbeaten streak to 11 matches (9-0-2) and its winning streak to three with a 2-0 shutout of FDU-Florham in a non-conference road game. Kyle Evans (Seaville/Ocean City) led the Ospreys with a goal and an assist. Rafael Duarte (Ocean City/Ocean City) also scored a goal for Stockton.
Duarte and Evans now rank second and third in the NJAC with 29 and 25 points respectively while Evans also leads the league with 11 assists.
Duarte gave the Ospreys a 1-0 lead with his team-high 13th goal of the season, assisted by Evans with 4:01 remaining in the first half. Evans later scored an insurance goal and Brian Thomsen (Brick/Msgr. Donovan) recorded the assist on the tally, which came just 4:38 into the second half. Stockton goalkeeper Tim Brett (Palmyra/Palmyra) did not need to make any saves to collect his third shutout of the season as FDU-Florham did not register a single shot on goal in the 2-0 Stockton victory.
