Richard Stockton (2-15, 0-5 NJAC) fell short 4-1 in an NJAC road game at Montclair State (9-6, 2-2). Freshman Jenny Carpenter (Egg Harbor City/Absegami) scored a goal for the third consecutive game and Stockton goalie Debi O’Kane (Cologne/Absegami) recorded five saves. The game was final one away from home before the Ospreys finish the season with a pair of games at the Stockton Turf Field.

Montclair scored the only goal of the first half at 26:40 and doubled its lead to 2-0 just 1:29 into the second stanza. The Red Hawks pulled away with tallies at 49:01 and 61:38 for a 4-0 advantage with less than 10 minutes to play.

A shot by Nancy White (Ocean City/Ocean City) was stopped by the Montclair goalie but Carpenter got to the loose ball off a scramble and knocked it home with 4:29 remaining for her third goal of the season as Stockton averted the shutout but suffered the 4-1 defeat.
