Richard Stockton (14-4-2, 5-2-2 NJAC) concluded the regular season with a 4-0 shutout of Rutgers-Newark (10-8-1, 1-7-1) on the road. Kyle Evans (Seaville/Ocean City) scored two goals in the first half to propel the Ospreys to victory. Brian Thomsen (Brick/Msgr. Donovan) tallied a goal and assist while Ali Gocmez (Delran/Delran) also found the back of the net as Stockton rolled to its fourth straight win and boosted its unbeaten streak to 12 matches (10-0-2).

Evans gave Stockton an early 1-0 lead just eight minutes into the game with assists by Thomsen and Tom Parkinson (Old Bridge/Old Bridge). Evans scored again late in the half at 38:28 to bring his season total to nine goals, including four during the Ospreys’ current four-game winning streak. Rafael Duarte (Ocean City/Ocean City) notched an assist by crossing the ball to Evans.

Stockton added to its lead with two more tallies in the second half. Thomsen produced his fourth goal of the season unassisted at 60:13 and Gocmez closed the scoring with assists by Anthony Pira (Freehold/Freehold Boro), his first college point, and George Hamilton (Medford/Shawnee) with 9:08 to play. Tim Brett (Palmyra/Palmyra) made eight saves in 82:35 and Noah Morris (Brick/Brick Twp.) did not face a shot on goal in the last 7:25 to complete the combined shutout.
