Richard Stockton (21-7, 8-0 NJAC) swept Montclair State (4-27, 3-5) 25-10, 25-9, 25-12 to finish unbeaten in conference play during the regular season. Christine Velott (Moorestown/ Moorestown) led the Ospreys to their fourth straight win overall with a team-high 12 kills plus seven digs. Nicole Serekian (Mahwah/Mahwah) spiked eight kills and Christine Astarita (Selden, NY/Newfield) paced the Stockton defense with 19 digs.

Serekian helped propel Stockton to an early lead with four kills on four attacks in the first set. The Ospreys jumped out to a 12-4 lead and won the frame 25-10. Velott led Stockton to a 25-9 victory in the middle set with four kills and the Ospreys pulled away by winning nine of the last 10 points. Velott was Stockton’s top scorer again in the third set with five kills and the Ospreys used a five-point burst to build a 19-8 lead on the way to closing out the match 25-12.
