Boxscore
Richard Stockton (12-7-2) fell short in its bid for a fourth straight trip to the NJAC championship game as the Ospreys fell to 13th-ranked College of New Jersey (15-2-1) 2-1 in the conference tournament semifinals. Sophomore Dailey Todd (Millville/Millville) scored a late goal and freshman goalkeeper Sarah Hinkle (Mullica Hill/Paul VI) made three saves for fourth-seeded Stockton.

TCNJ, the top seed for the NJAC tournament, took an early 1-0 lead with the only goal of the first half 16:40 into the match. The Ospreys nearly tied the game later in the period on consecutive shots from close range by Kiera Hines (Deptford/Deptford) and Rachel Carlson (Mullica Twp./Oakcrest) that were stopped by the Lions’ goalie. Hinkle registered three first-half saves for Stockton.

With the score still 1-0 in the second half, Carlson almost knotted the match with a shot that narrowly missed, glancing off the far post. TCNJ scored what seemed to be an insurance goal at 77:35 for a 2-0 lead. The game tightened when Todd netted her sixth marker of the season on an assist by Hines to pull the Ospreys within 2-1 with just 5:19 remaining, but Stockton could not produce the tying goal and was knocked out of the NJAC tournament.
