Stockton Opens Indoor Season at CTC Relays

Richard Stockton opened the 2010-11 season by competing in the Collegiate Track Conference Relay Carnival at Yale University. The Osprey women’s team finished third while the men’s team placed sixth.

The quartet of Rachel Carlson (Mullica Twp./Oakcrest), Morgan Sinclair (Chadds Ford, PA/Unionville), Barbara Prokopiuk (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) and Robyn Evangelist (Northfield/Mainland) won the women’s 4x800 relay (10:14.55).

Amanda Williams (Williamstown/Williamstown) tied for first in the high jump (1.55m) while Mahogany Mitchell (Atlantic City/Atlantic City) finished second in the weight throw (13.93m) and Nikki Stratton (Stratford/Sterling) tied for second in the long jump (5.17m).

In men’s competition, Jim Osenenko (West Creek/Pinelands) placed third in the high jump (1.83m) and Jose Ramos (Vineland/Vineland) was third in the pole vault (4.10m).

The Stockton team of Randy Faiges (Bayville/Central Regional), Dillon Glasser (Mays Landing/ACIT), Abad Akhtar (Brigantine/Atlantic City) and Mitchell Berlin (Cherry Hill/CH West) finished third in the 4x1 mile relay (18:56.04).
