Katie Henderson (Williamstown/Williamstown) scored her first goal of the season at 58:53 on a shot from 30 yards out to snap a 0-0 tie and propel Stockton to a 1-0 victory over Gwynedd-Mercy. Stephanie Anderson (Hackettstown/ Mt.Olive) assisted on the game-winner for the Ospreys. Stockton goalkeeper Alex Rogers (Medford/Shawnee) registered her first shutout of the season without needing to make any saves.

The Ospreys were on the attack throughout the game, outshooting Gwynedd-Mercy 27-0. Despite the heavy pressure, the game was tied 0-0 into the second half. Stockton had plenty of scoring chances, including three near-misses by Courtney Dougherty (Ocean City/Ocean City) that rang off the post or crossbar. The Ospreys finally were able to solve the Gwynedd-Mercy goalie on a 30-yard blast by Henderson that found its way inside the near post to give Stockton the 1-0 triumph.
