Stockton Track & Field Returns to Action at Lehigh |
| Results The Richard Stockton men’s and women’s indoor track & field teams competed in their first meet in over a month at the Lehigh University Invitational. The Ospreys were one of six teams at the meet, and there was no team scoring. Jim Osenenko (West Creek/ Pinelands) was the lone event winner for the Ospreys, capturing the 60-meter hurdles in 8.67 seconds. Osenenko also finished fifth in the long jump (6.38m). Abad Akhtar (Brigantine/Atlantic City) finished second in the 3000m run (9:01.25) and Khayriy Tilghman (Newark/Arts) placed fourth in the high jump. Chris Collins (Manahawkin/Southern) was seventh in the 60m dash (7.24 seconds) and eighth in the 200m dash (23.65 seconds) for the Stockton men. Freshman Meagan Simmons (Manahawkin/Southern) led the Osprey women by finishing second in the triple jump (10.65m) while Mahogany Mitchell (Atlantic City/Atlantic City) placed fourth in the weight throw (15.39m). On the track, Katherine Rudy (Bound Brook/ Bound Brook) was sixth in the 500m run (1:27.89). |
