Stockton Wins Four Events at Delaware Open

Results
The Richard Stockton men’s and women’s indoor track & field teams faced primarily NCAA Division I and II competitors at the University of Delaware Open. The Ospreys won a total of four events, sweeping the high jump and javelin.

Jim Osenenko (West Creek/Pinelands) won the men’s high jump (1.89m) and Amanda Williams (Williamstown/ Williamstown) captured the women’s high jump (1.60m). Jack Stephenson (Woodbine/Ocean City) won the men’s javelin (54.92m) and Jill Shaner (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) took the women’s javelin (43.13m).

Osenenko also finished second in the long jump (6.63m) and 110m hurdles (15.90 seconds) while Williams was fourth in the triple jump (10.66m).

Jim Codianni (Medford/Shawnee) placed second in the 3000m (8:59.66) and Mahogany Mitchell (Atlantic City/ Atlantic City) was second in the women’s hammer throw (46.47m). Robyn Evangelist (Northfield/ Mainland) finished third in two events, the 800m (2:17.84) and 1500m (4:48.25).

Chris Collins (Manahawkin/Southern) placed third in the men’s 100m (11.14 seconds) and fourth in the 200m (22.31 seconds) while Dillon Glasser (Mays Landing/ACIT) was third in the 3000m steeplechase (10:19.57).

Dan Hemmerlin (West Milford/West Milford) finished third in the high jump (1.84m) and Kevin Miller (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) was third in the javelin (52.82m). Meagan Simmons (Manahawkin/Southern) placed third in the women’s triple jump (10.67m).
