Richard Stockton (2-9, 1-2 Skyline) snapped a six-game winless streak with a convincing 13-8 victory over Mount St. Vincent (6-5, 1-3 Skyline). Matt Bologno (Glen Gardner/ Voorhees) scored five goals and assisted on three others for eight points in the win.

After a furious first period that saw both teams score four times, including seven of the goals in a 3:35 span, Stockton took control in the second quarter and never looked back.

Bologno scored twice as Stockton outscored the Dolphins 4-1 in the stanza. Drew Wright (Wallingford, PA/Strath Haven) and Sean Haugh (Holland, PA/Council Rock South) also tallied in the quarter, giving the Ospreys an 8-5 lead at the half.

Bologno and Haugh hit the net again in the third period, upping the lead to 10-5 before the Dolphins scored the next two goals to pull within 10-7 in the fourth quarter. Drew Flagler (Califon/Voorhees) sandwiched goals around a Dolphins’ tally to give Stockton a four-goal advantage once again at 12-8. Bologno followed with his fifth of the game 17 seconds later to clinch the 13-8 win.

Flagler notched a hat trick to go with an assist in the game while Haugh netted two scores as well on the night. Stockton goalkeeper Tim Wolcott (Toms River/Toms River North) picked up his second win of the season, making 13 saves.
