Richard Stockton (3-9, 2-2 Skyline) dominated Mount St. Mary (NY) (2-12, 0-5) 17-5 in a Skyline Conference game that was interrupted by lightning on April 16 and finished on April 17.

Drew Flagler (Califon/Voorhees) led the Ospreys with five goals and one assist. Brian Santoleri (Berwyn, PA/Arch. Carroll) scored three goals and Matt Bologno (Glen Gardner/ Voorhees) added two markers.

On April 16, Flagler scored twice as Stockton assumed a 3-1 lead before the game was halted due to lightning with 18 seconds remaining in the first quarter. When the game resumed the next day, the Ospreys took control with six goals in the second period for a 9-2 lead at the half. Santoleri and Bologno netted two goals apiece in the second stanza.

Flagler struck for three straight tallies in the third quarter to increase Stockton’s advantage to 12-2. The Ospreys led 14-2 after three periods and the teams scored three goals apiece in the fourth quarter for the 17-5 final.

Ten Stockton players scored in the game, with sophomore Shawn Theno (New Gretna/St. Joseph) and freshman Joseph Vargo (Kinnelon/Kinnelon) each tallying their first career goal. Stockton goalkeeper Tim Wolcott (Toms River/TR North) made three saves in three quarters for the win. Noah Morris (Brick/Brick Twp.) notched one save in the fourth period.
