Stockton Hosts Rutgers-Camden in Dual Races |
Rutgers-Camden won a pair of dual races over Richard Stockton in strong wind and rain this morning. In the varsity four, the Scarlet Raptors prevailed by 36 seconds with a time of 8:03.38 to Stockton’s 8:39.18. Stephanie French (Edgewater Park/Burlington Twp.), Tatiana Lopez (Pleasantville/ Pleasantville), Stephanie Roth (Millstone Twp./St. John Vianney) and Erin Paul (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) rowed for the Ospreys and Alexis Sullivan (Hazlet/Marine Academy) was the coxswain for the varsity four. Rutgers-Camden won by 14 seconds in the novice four, posting a time of 7:40.01 while Stockton came in at 7:54.52. Due to the poor conditions, the race was rowed on a shorter course. Sullivan again served as the coxswain for the Ospreys, with Paul, Susanne Blough (Vineland/ Sacred Heart), Amber Bacon (Tabernacle/Seneca) and Cindy Loaiza (Parsippany/Parsippany) rowing in the novice four. |
