Richard Stockton (3-11, 2-4) was dominated 20-7 by Farmingdale State (9-4, 6-0 Skyline) as the Ospreys played their season finale and Rams finished unbeaten in conference play. Farmingdale State scored the first 10 goals of the game, eight in the first quarter and two in the second.

Brent Effenberger (Toms River/Msgr. Donovan) finally got Stockton on the board with 2:53 left in the first half, but the Ospreys trailed 10-1 at the break. Farmingdale State reeled off the first eight goals of the third quarter before Drew Wright (Wallingford, PA/Strath Haven) ended the run with an unassisted marker for Stockton.

The Ospreys outscored Farmingdale State 5-2 in the fourth quarter, but the outcome had long been decided as the Rams cruised to the 20-7 victory. Effenberger, Drew Flagler (Califon/Voorhees), Matt Bologno (Glen Gardner/Voorhees) and Taylor Monticelli (Pasadena, MD/Chesapeake) each registered a goal and an assist for Stockton.

The game was the final career match for Stockton seniors Effenberger, Andrew Martinelli (West Orange/West Orange), Sean Haugh (Holland, PA/Council Rock South) and Matt Heidkamp (Fair Lawn/Fair Lawn). Martinelli, a goalie, made his first start in two years at Stockton and recorded seven saves.
