Sean McCallum

Boxscore
The Stockton men’s soccer team fell short 2-1 against College of New Jersey for its second consecutive NJAC home defeat.  The outcome also created Stockton’s first three-game winless skid within a season since 1992.  Sean McCallum (Vineland/Vineland) nearly sparked a rally with a late goal for the Ospreys.  Matt Hart (Dayton/South Brunswick) made two saves before leaving with an injury.  Tim McKenna (Sewell/Gloucester Catholic) replaced Hart in net for the final 12:53 of the match.

TCNJ took a 1-0 lead with the only goal of the first half on a header at 19:59, and the Lions doubled their advantage to 2-0 with a breakaway tally at 77:42.  Stockton got a goal from McCallum on an assist from A.J. Colubiale (Cape May/Lower Cape May) at 82:07 to cut the lead in half.  The Ospreys threatened in the final minute and got the apparent game-tying goal on a header by Rafael Duarte (Ocean City/Ocean City) with 28 seconds remaining, but the scoring play was negated by an offside call and TCNJ prevailed 2-1.
