Richard Stockton senior Robyn Evangelist (Northfield/ Mainland) and junior Ben Hammond (Williamstown/ Williamstown) competed in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Ohio Wesleyan University.

Evangelist finished 18th out of 22 competitors in the 1500m run. She posted a time of 4:42.15 in the preliminaries but was unable to qualify for the finals (top five in each heat plus next two fastest times).

Evangelist was seeded 13th for the NCAA meet. The senior, who was making her first appearance at the NCAA Championships, finished ninth in heat two.

All 12 runners that advanced to the finals registered times that were faster than the school record of 4:33.59 that Evangelist set on May 20 to qualify for the NCAA Championships. She finished her career as a four-year letter winner at Stockton with the race.

Hammond finished 16th out of 19 competitors in the triple jump. He posted a best jump of 14.14 meters on the last of his three attempts. Earlier, Hammond fouled on his first try and then notched a distance of 13.06 meters on his second attempt. All nine competitors that advanced to the finals surpassed Hammond's personal best of 14.70 meters.

The junior made his second appearance at an NCAA Championship meet after earning All-American honors by finishing eighth at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships in March.
