Stockton Wins Twice at Widener

Richard Stockton (2-0) opened the 2011 season with two victories in a tri-match at Widener University. The Ospreys downed Cabrini 25-20, 25-21, 28-26 before coming right back and defeating Widener 25-18, 26-24, 27-25.

In the opener, Laura Hausman (Bethlehem, PA/Catasauqua) led the way with 31 assists and nine digs. Teammates Christine Velott (Moorestown/Moorestown) had 12 kills and eight digs while Stephanie Warner’s (Totowa/Passaic Valley) nine kills aided the attack.

In the second match, it was the threesome of Hausman, Velott and Warner doing the damage again. Hausman dished out 37 assists and scooped 12 digs. Velott knocked down 10 kills and added 15 digs while Warner slammed 10 kills and added three blocks.
