The Stockton women’s soccer team edged Centenary 1-0 in a non-conference road game for its third consecutive shutout. The Ospreys also extended their unbeaten streak to eight games (7-0-1) since their season-opening loss. Freshman Amanda Altman (Beachwood/Toms River South) scored her team-leading eighth goal of the season. Stockton goalkeeper Alex Rogers (Medford/Shawnee) made 10 saves for her fifth shutout this year.

After a scoreless first half, Altman booted a shot over the Centenary keeper’s head for the game-winning goal at 61:15. Laura O’Shea (Petersburg/Ocean City) assisted on the marker, which propelled Stockton to the 1-0 victory. Rogers notched five saves in each half for her season-high total of 10 stops. Neither Rogers nor the Ospreys have allowed a goal in the last 331:54 of game action.
