Richard Stockton (3-0) remained unbeaten with a 3-0 victory over St. Joseph’s-Long Island (1-2) in the Cougar Classic at Kean University. After a scoreless first half, the Ospreys netted three goals in a span of 10 minutes to post their third victory in four days.

Kiera Hines (Deptford/Deptford) gave Stockton a 1-0 lead with a goal assisted by Jacque Becker (Hamilton Twp./ Steinert) at 58:56.

Less than three minutes later, Jess McQuillen (Tabernacle/ Seneca) doubled the Ospreys’ lead to 2-0 and sophomore Samantha O’Donovan (Galloway/Our Lady of Mercy) earned her first career point with the assist. Jessica Balnis (Dorothy/Buena) capped the outburst at 68:56 by scoring a goal for the third straight game.

Starting goalkeeper Sarah Hinkle (Mullica Hill/Paul VI) made two saves for Stockton in 75:45 before giving way to Brittney Boyle (Pemberton/Pemberton) who did not face a shot on goal in the final 14:15 to close out Stockton’s first shutout of the season.
