STOCKTON WINS WITH THIRD STRAIGHT SHUTOUT

Richard Stockton (4-0-1) scored twice in the first half and defeated Marymount (2-2) 2-0 for its third consecutive shutout. The Ospreys extended their team shutout streak to 317 minutes without allowing a goal.

Stockton goalkeeper Sarah Hinkle (Mullica Hill/Paul VI) did not face a shot on goal in recording her second shutout of the season. Hinkle boosted her personal streak to 302 minutes since she was last beaten for a goal.

Jacque Becker (Hamilton Twp./Steinert) gave Stockton a 1-0 lead just 12:29 into the match as she stole the ball at the top of the box and scored an unassisted goal.

The Ospreys added an insurance tally with 10:52 remaining in the first half. Jessica Balnis (Dorothy/Buena) scored her fourth goal in five games and freshman Rachel Sanford (South Brunswick/South Brunswick) notched her first career point with the assist.

The Ospreys outshot Marymount 18-3 for the game, including 10-0 in the first half as they built their 2-0 lead. With the victory, Stockton remained unbeaten on the season as they played their fifth straight road game.
