The Stockton men’s soccer team fell to NJAC foe William Paterson 3-2, dropping its third straight game. Sean McCallum (Vineland/Vineland) and Mike Holmes (Toms River/Toms River North) scored second-half goals as the Ospreys tried to rally from a 3-0 deficit. Goalkeeper Tim McKenna (Sewell/Gloucester Catholic) made four saves in the match, but Stockton dropped to 0-3 in NJAC play.

The Ospreys was behind 3-0 after William Paterson scored two goals in two minutes early in the second half. Just 76 seconds after the third WPU goal, McCallum (Vineland/Vineland) got Stockton on the board with assists by Jason Bonnel (Edison/J.P. Stevens) and A.J. Colubiale (Cape May/Lower Cape May) to cut the lead to 3-1.

Mike Holmes (Toms River/TR North) later scored on a header assisted by Chris DePolis (Voorhees/Eastern) at 61:13 to make the score 3-2. Rafael Duarte (Ocean City/Ocean City) nearly tied the game in the 86^th minute, but his shot was cleared off the line by a William Paterson defender and the Ospreys fell short, 3-2.
