Stockton ended a three-game losing skid and a four-game winless streak with an 11-0 victory over Alvernia in a non-conference match. Pat Tolomeo (Ocean City/Ocean City) led the Ospreys with two goals and four assists while freshman George Hamilton (Medford/Shawnee) scored his first two career goals. Eric Lewis (Dover, DE/Caesar Rodney), Mike Holmes (Toms River/TR North) and Sean Nelson (Toms River/TR South) each tallied a goal and an assist.

Rafael Duarte (Ocean City/Ocean City), Sean McCallum (Vineland/Vineland), Jason Bonnel (Edison/J.P. Stevens) and Joe Tobolski (Vineland/St. Augustine) also booted one goal apiece for Stockton. Nelson and Tobolski netted their first college markers.

Ospreys’ goalkeeper Tim McKenna (Sewell/Gloucester Catholic) earned the shutout with five saves. The game was scoreless for over 28 minutes before Duarte scored the first of Stockton’s three first-half goals on a penalty kick. The Ospreys broke the game open with eight goals in the second half, including five in an eight-minute span between the 67^th and 75^th minutes.
