STOCKTON CRUISES PAST MUHLENBERG IN THREE SETS

Richard Stockton (5-2) rolled to its 11th consecutive home victory with a 25-8, 25-11, 25-11 sweep of Muhlenberg (2-8) in a non-conference match.

Nicole Serekian (Mahwah/Mahwah) led the Ospreys with 15 kills and Christine Velott (Moorestown/Moorestown) contributed nine kills. Laura Hausman (Bethlehem, PA/ Catasauqua) directed the Stockton offense with 20 assists. 

Brooke McQueen paced Muhlenberg with five kills and 10 digs while Alyssa Schell scooped a team-high 12 digs for the Mules.

Serekian got the Ospreys off to a fast start with five kills in the opening set as Stockton cruised to a 25-8 win. Muhlenberg's Laurainne Ojo-Ohikuare registered three of her five kills in the first frame.

Velott became the focal point of the Stockton attack in the second set, spurring her team to a 25-11 win with five kills. The Ospreys went back to Serekian in the third set and she delivered six more kills as they completed the sweep 25-11. McQueen tallied three kills in the last stanza for Muhlenberg.
