STOCKTON BLANKED 3-0 BY KEAN

Richard Stockton (4-2-2, 0-1 NJAC) opened conference play with a road game at Kean (4-2-1, 1-0) in which the Ospreys suffered a 3-0 defeat.

Stockton goalkeeper Sarah Hinkle (Mullica Hill/Paul VI) finished with four saves, but her team was shut out for the second consecutive game. The Stockton offense has not produced a goal in its last 259 minutes.

Kean outshot the Ospreys 18-6 in the game and scored twice in the first half. Carly Seidel gave the Cougars a 1-0 lead at the 17:15 mark and Kristen Hager struck for Kean at 38:44 for a 2-0 lead at the break.

In the second half, Hinkle stopped a penalty kick by Kean’s Julianna Natale, but Natale scored on the rebound with 4:46 remaining for the 3-0 final score. Kiera Hines (Deptford/ Deptford) recorded two of Stockton’s six shots, including one on goal in the match.
