Boxscore
The 22nd-ranked Stockton women’s soccer team had its eight-game unbeaten streak halted with a 2-0 loss in an NJAC game at Rowan.  The defeat was the first for the Ospreys since their season opener at Roanoke on August 31.  Goalkeeper Alex Rogers (Medford/Shawnee) made four saves and Amanda Altman (Beachwood/Toms River South) was credited with five of Stockton’s 11 shots.

The teams played a scoreless first half in which Rowan held a slim 7-6 edge in shots.  Rogers stopped all three shots on goal that she faced in the period.  The Profs broke through for goals at 66:28 and 74:38 for the only scoring in the match.  Stockton had six corner kicks and five shots in the second half but could not get on the board in the 2-0 loss.  The Ospreys have scored just one goal in their last three games combined.
