Richard Stockton (6-3-1, 0-2-1 NJAC) was shut out 3-0 by Rowan (4-3-2, 1-1-1) in the latest edition of the spirited rivalry between the two South Jersey foes.

Stockton goalkeeper Tim Brett (Palmyra/Palmyra) made two saves but the Ospreys were held off the scoreboard for the first time in 10 games this season.

Rowan jumped out to a 2-0 lead with a pair of goals in the first 22 minutes. Zack Zehrend scored on a header off a free kick by Nick Bolton 13:11 into the match.

Eight minutes later, Andrew Brawner stuck for the Profs, and Rowan held a 2-0 advantage at the break. In the second half, Christian Fountain added the clincher for the Profs with 12:06 remaining for the 3-0 final score.

As usual when Stockton and Rowan meet on the pitch, the contest was hotly contested. The match featured a combined 29 fouls and three yellow cards, plus one red card issued to each team. The ejections came simultaneously with 4:33 remaining in the first half. Rowan held a slim 10-9 edge in shots while Stockton outdid the Profs 5-1 in corner kicks but failed to capitalize on its opportunities.
