The Stockton field hockey team was dominated 8-0 by undefeated Widener in a non-conference road game. Goalkeeper Debi O’Kane (Cologne/Absegami) stood tall against a Widener attack that produced 30 shots on goal, and O’Kane responded with a career-high 22 saves. Samantha Horner (Newfield/Buena) registered two of Stockton’s four shots in the game.

Widener overwhelmed the Ospreys with 23 shots in the first half. O’Kane made 15 saves in the period, but Stockton faced a 4-0 deficit at the break. Widener added four more tallies in the first 15:43 of the second half for the 8-0 final score, which left the Ospreys mired in a four-game skid.
