STOCKTON SWEEPS RUTGERS-CAMDEN 9-0

Richard Stockton (3-3, 1-2 NJAC) won all nine matches for a 9-0 victory over winless Rutgers-Camden (0-9, 0-5). With the shutout, the Ospreys earned their first conference win of the season. 

Stockton began by sweeping the three doubles contests, led by Scout Bauer (Haddon Twp./Haddon Twp.) and Jaclyn Britton (Brick/Brick Memorial) with an 8-0 whitewash.

The Osprey duos of Krystle Bendijo (Egg Harbor Twp./ EHT)/Brittany Hall (Rancocas/Rancocas Valley) and Sam Koropchak (West Milford/West Milford)/Slone Portner (Shamong/Seneca) both won by identical 8-2 scores.

Bendijo led off the singles domination with a 6-1, 6-1 win, followed by Hall with a 6-0, 6-1 triumph. Koropchak and Bauer, both freshmen, added victories by scores of 6-2, 6-0 and 6-2, 6-1 respectively.

The final two matches of the singles ladder were the closest of the day. Britton topped Casey Crenny 6-2, 6-4 for her fourth consecutive win. Tara Varga (Pt. Pleasant Boro/ Pt. Pleasant Boro) completed the shutout with a 7-5, 6-3 victory over Gina Lynn Pearson.
