Richard Stockton (7-5-2, 3-3 NJAC) evened their record in NJAC play as they scored three times in the second half to down Rutgers-Camden (0-10-1, 0-5 NJAC) 3-1. The Scarlet Raptors were bidding for their first win of the season.

The Raptors took their first lead of the season into halftime after freshman Katie Angelosante scored her first career goal with an assist from Sarah Kooistra for a 1-0 lead 25:48 into the half.

The Ospreys broke through by scoring three times in a short span in the second half. Jacque Becker (Hamilton/Steinert) scored on a nice feed from Kiera Hines (Deptford/Deptford) to tie the game at one. Just 2:47 later, Anita Lato (Rockaway/Morris Hills) poked in a rebound off a shot by Rachel Carlson (Mullica Twp./Oakcrest) for her first career goal to put Stockton on top 2-1.

The Ospreys scored again 1:35 later as Brianna DeStefano (Williamstown/Williamstown) again gathered a loose rebound and scored to set the final score. Jessica Balnis (Dorothy/Buena) took the original shot for the assist.

Stockton goalkeeper Sarah Hinkle (Mullica Hill/Paul VI) made three saves for her seventh win of the season. Scarlet Raptors’ goalie Leighanna Milby kicked out nine shots in defeat.
