Boxscore

Richard Stockton (11-5-4, 5-3 NJAC) closed the regular season with a 1-0 win in an NJAC road game at Rutgers-Newark (4-15, 0-8).

Jessica Balnis (Dorothy/Buena) scored a late goal to help the Ospreys extend their unbeaten streak to seven matches (5-0-2) as they head into the NJAC tournament.

Balnis headed a crossing pass over a Rutgers-Newark defender just outside the top of box, retrieved the ball and booted a shot into the left side of the net with just 4:22 remaining in the second half. Balnis netted her team-leading seventh goal of the season and second game-winner.

Stockton held slight advantages of 19-17 in shots and 5-3 in corner kicks during the defensive battle. Sophomore goalkeeper Cara Parliament (Manchester/Manchester Twp.) made her first career start and recorded three saves in the first half. Brittney Boyle (Pemberton/Pemberton) took over in the second half and secured the combined shutout with four stops.
