Boxscore
The Stockton field hockey team earned its second win of the season, beating Albright 4-3 in a non-conference game.  The Ospreys scored three first-half goals to help snap their six-game losing streak.  Gabrielle Palermo (Ocean Twp./ Ocean Twp.), a sophomore, led Stockton with her first career goal plus one assist.

Lynn Becker (Oaklyn/Collingswood) scored her first college goal at 14:05 to make the score 1-0 Ospreys.  Albright rallied to tie the game at 1-1, however Stockton got a Katie Mattsson (Brick/ Brick Twp.) goal only 30 seconds later for a 2-1 lead.  With eight minutes left in the half, Stockton got its third goal from Samantha Horner (Newfield/Buena) to go up 3-1 before the break.

Albright scored at 42:27 to pull within 3-2 but Palermo answered with a goal just 1:26 later that proved to be the game-winner.  That marker, coupled with the steady play of goalkeeper Debi O’Kane (Cologne/Absegami) who finished the game with 12 saves, proved to be the difference in the 4-3 win.
