The Stockton men’s soccer team scored one goal in each half for a 2-0 victory over Gwynedd-Mercy. Eric Lewis (Dover, DE/Caesar Rodney) and Jason Bonnel (Edison/ J.P. Stevens) netted one goal apiece for the Ospreys. With all three goalies on the Stockton roster unavailable, Brett Ferron (Ringwood/Don Bosco), normally a forward, assumed the goalkeeping duties and made three saves for the shutout win.

Lewis gave Stockton an early 1-0 lead with an assist from Rafael Duarte (Ocean City/Ocean City) just 2:16 into the match. The one-goal margin lasted until well into the second half before Bonnel gave the Ospreys some insurance by scoring on a header assisted by Sean Nelson (Toms River/TR South) at 78:27. Ferron made two of his three saves in the second half to preserve the shutout in the 2-0 victory.
