STOCKTON TEAMS EACH 10TH IN CTC CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Richard Stockton men’s and women’s indoor track & field teams each finished 10th in the CTC Championships at Wesleyan College. There were 18 men’s squad and 17 women’s teams at the meet.

Ryan Mazzeo (Marmora/Ocean City) was the lone event winner for Stockton as he captured the pole vault (4.40m).

Khayriy Tilghman (Newark/Arts) finished third in the high jump (1.88m) and Alex Bruno (Voorhees/Eastern) placed fourth in the mile (4:35.99). Sean Prinkey (Mt. Laurel/ Lenape) was fifth in the pole vault for the Ospreys (3.80m).

The men's 4x800 unit of Bruno, James Maloney (South Brunswick/South Brunswick), Rich O'Connor (Bloomfield/ St. Peter's Prep) and Karl Petrini (Hillsborough/ Hillsborough) captured sixth place (8:30.67).

The Stockton women’s team had its best finish in the 4x800 relay. The quartet of Nicole Salge (Spotswood/Spotswood), Caitlyn Kozlowski (Hillsborough/Hillsborough)Rachel Carlson (Mullica Twp./Oakcrest) and Laura Warren (Bellmawr/Triton) placed second in the race (10:24.53).

Salge also finished fourth in the mile (5:30.99) and Warren was fifth in the 5000m (19:36.85). Morgan Sinclair (Chadds Ford, PA/Unionville) placed sixth in the 5000m (19:36.93) and Melissa Yanucil (Bordentown/Bordentown) tied for sixth in the high jump (1.48m).
