BROWN & McDONOUGH GARNER ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS

DiAndre Brown
Bill McDonough

Two Richard Stockton men’s basketball players were rewarded for their play with NJAC all-conference honors.

Senior forward DiAndre Brown (Sicklerville/Camden County Tech) was voted to the NJAC First Team and junior forward Bill McDonough (Spring Lake/St. Rose) was selected to the NJAC Second Team.

Brown and McDonough have led the Ospreys to an 18-7 record and the #1 overall seed for the NJAC Tournament with a league-best 12-1 mark in conference play.

Brown, who earned his first all-conference selection, leads the team and ranks eighth in the NJAC in scoring (14.6 ppg). The small forward also tops the team and stands sixth in the league in free throw percentage (.779).

Brown is 10th in the NJAC with 40 three-pointers, which ranks second on the Ospreys. He has played in all 25 games and made a team-high 24 starts this season.

Brown is in his third season at Stockton after playing his freshman year at Eastern Nazarene (MA). He reached a personal milestone on January 11 by scoring his 1,000th career point in Stockton’s 96-60 victory over Rutgers-Camden.

McDonough, in first year at Stockton, leads the Ospreys in rebounds (9.1 rpg) and steals (1.6 spg), ranking second and eighth respectively in the NJAC in those two categories.

The 6-7 forward also stands second on the team in scoring (13.6 ppg). McDonough joined the Stockton squad this year after two prior seasons at Ocean County College. He has made 21 starts and recorded 10 double-doubles for the Ospreys this year.
