The Stockton field hockey team fell to Scranton 3-0 in a game that started 50 minutes late due to lightning and later was delayed for 20 minutes during the second half for the same reason. Ospreys’ goalkeeper Debi O’Kane (Cologne/Absegami) registered 11 saves and Ashley Engel (Alloway/Woodstown) was credited with two of Stockton’s five shots.

Scranton took an early lead just 3:34 into the game and added its second goal of the half at 27:16. O’Kane stopped eight of nine shots on goal that she faced in the second frame, but Scranton scored the only marker of the period at the 58-minute mark for the 3-0 final score.
