Boxscore
The Stockton women’s soccer team dominated play versus conference foe Rutgers-Camden, out-shooting the defensive-minded Scarlet Raptors 32-3, but the result was a 1-1 tie.  Katie Henderson (Williamstown/Williamstown) scored the lone goal for the Ospreys on a penalty kick.  Danielle Nettleton (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) made her first start of the season in goal as a late replacement for Alex Rogers (Medford/Shawnee) who was injured during warmups.

The Scarlet Raptors took a 1-0 lead into halftime thanks to a goal just 55 seconds before the break.  In the second half, Stockton finally tied the score at 1-1 on a penalty kick by Henderson, her third goal of the season, at 78:40.

In the first overtime, the Ospreys had a great scoring chance when Val Davison (Cranbury/ Princeton) took a crossing pass but hit the post on her 12-yard shot.  In the second overtime, Stockton had two more quality scoring chances.  First Courtney Dougherty (Ocean City/ Ocean City) fired a shot that was turned away by the Rutgers-Camden goalie, then Shelley Gibney’s (Shamong/Seneca) effort on the rebound was denied by the keeper as well.
