OSPREYS EARN NJAC ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS

Richard Stockton track & field student-athletes earned NJAC all-conference honors in three events. Junior Ryan Mazzeo (Marmora/Ocean City) collected a spot on the NJAC Second Team in the men’s pole vault.

Sophomore Morgan Sinclair (Chadds Ford, PA/Unionville) garnered an NJAC Honorable Mention nod in the women’s 5000-meter run.

The quartet of Alex Bruno (Voorhees/Eastern), James Maloney (South Brunswick/South Brunswick), Rich O’Connor (Bloomfield/St. Peter’s Prep) and Dillon Glasser (Mays Landing/ACIT) earned NJAC Honorable Mention spots in the men’s 4x800 relay.

Mazzeo took second place out of 13 entrants in the pole vault at the NJAC Championships, clearing a best height of 4.40 meters. He was Stockton’s top finisher at the meet.

Sinclair crossed the finish line third out of 12 runners in the 5000m with a time of 19:26.07 as the top female performer for the Ospreys at the NJAC Championships.

Bruno, Maloney, O’Connor, and Glasser covered the 4x800 in 8:15.91 to earn their NJAC all-conference spot by less than a second over the fourth-place unit from Montclair State.

In team scoring, Stockton finished fifth on the women’s side and sixth on the men’s side at the NJAC Championships.
