NICK BOLOGNO NAMED SKYLINE CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Richard Stockton freshman Nick Bologno (Glen Gardner/ North Hunterdon) was named the Skyline Conference Men’s Lacrosse Co-Player of the Week

Bologno collected his second straight Skyline weekly award after being chosen the league’s top rookie on March 20.

Bologno was Stockton’s leading scorer with team highs of 10 goals and five assists for 15 points as the Ospreys split two road games last week.

The freshman tallied five goals and two assists versus Albright on March 21 and then led Stockton to a 16-11 win over Mount St. Mary (NY) with five goals and three assists. Bologno also scooped eight ground balls on the week.

Bologno currently leads the Skyline Conference in points per game (4.88). He also ranks second in the league in assists per game (1.88) and third in goals per game (3.00).

Bologno tops the Ospreys in scoring by a wide margin with 24 goals and 15 assists for 39 points in eight games. Stockton stands at 4-4 on the season and faces a stiff test tomorrow night when they host #9 Stevens at 7 pm.
