Debi O'Kane

The Stockton field hockey team returned to its home field after three straight road games, but the Ospreys fell to Wesley 3-0.  Debi O’Kane (Cologne/Absegami) faced 20 shots and recorded 12 saves in the game for Stockton.  Samantha Horner (Newfield/Buena) attempted three of Stockton’s four shots, all of which came in the first half.
O’Kane made six saves in the first stanza and the Ospreys generated five penalty corners and four shots, but the game was scoreless at the break.  Wesley took control of the game in the second half with 13 penalty corners and 11 shots in the period.  The Wolverines scored all three of their goals on second-half penalty corners and blanked Stockton 3-0.
