Eugene Isola (Monroe Twp./Christian Brothers Academy) once again was dominant on faceoffs, winning 19 of 23 and scooping 17 ground balls. Each team registered 33 shots in the game.

The Ospreys pulled within 5-4 with 6:06 left in the third quarter after Santoleri capped a three-goal spree that included tallies by Gencarelli and Robert Krais (Jackson/Jackson Memorial).

Stockton was held scoreless for the next 14 minutes while the Red Hawks reeled off nine consecutive goals for a 14-4 count. In the last seven minutes of the game, Veselka scored twice while Santoleri and Gencarelli each struck once, but the Ospreys could not overcome the steep deficit and they fell 14-8.
