STOCKTON MEN 4TH, WOMEN 5TH AT CTC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Results

The Richard Stockton outdoor track & field teams competed in the Collegiate Track Conferece (CTC) Championships at DeSales University.

The Stockton men finished fourth out of 15 scoring teams while the women placed fifth out of 15 squads. The Ospreys' performance was highlighted by three victories in men's events.

Ryan Mazzeo (Marmora/Ocean City) won the pole vault (4.20m) while Dan Hemmerlin (West Milford/West Milford) won the high jump (1.88m) and Randy Faiges (Bayville/ Central Regional) won the 3000m steeplechase (10:02.62).

The Stockton women's team was bolstered by a pair of second-place finishes. Nikki Stratton (Stratford/Sterling) finished second in the long jump (4.83m) and Bree Hudik (Bordentown/Bordentown) placed second in the discus (33.48m).

Six additional Ospreys earned third place in an event. Alex Bruno (Voorhees/Eastern) finished third in the 5000m (16:08.04) and Sean Prinkey (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) was third in the pole vault (3.90m).

Kevin Miller (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) placed third in the javelin (55.76m) and Tim Miller (Tuckerton/Pinelands) was third in the long jump (6.16m).

Meagan Simmons (Manahawkin/Southern) finished third in the triple jump (10.40m) and Nicole Salge (Spotswood/Spotswood) was third in the 1500m (5:06.05).
