On the field, Corica has played 30 games and started 25, primarily as the designated player for the Ospreys. The junior is batting .301 with 13 RBI, 12 runs, 11 walks, eight doubles and one home run.

Corica ranks third on the team in doubles and fourth in RBI. She has established career highs in batting average, hits (22), runs, doubles, RBI and walks this season.

Corica was an NJAC First Team and ECAC Metro All-Star selection in 2011. Academically, she is a two-time NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete and 2011 NJAC All-Academic Honorable Mention qualifier.

The Capital One Academic All-District program recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. District 2 consists of NCAA Division III schools in Connecticut, Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Rhode Island, West Virginia and Washington D.C.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballot, where first, second and third team Academic All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
