Boxscore
The Stockton women’s soccer team boosted its unbeaten streak to seven games (6-0-1) with a 1-0 victory over Salisbury in a non-conference road game.  Freshman Shelley Gibney (Shamong/Seneca) scored the game-winning goal late in the first half.  After missing the last two games due to injury, goalkeeper Alex Rogers (Medford/ Shawnee) returned to action and made two saves for her seventh shutout of the season.

The Ospreys dominated the first half, outshooting Salisbury 10-2.  Their efforts paid off at 35:58 when Gibney scored her fifth goal of the season with an assist by Leah Pocoroba (Galloway/Holy Spirit).  Stockton was careful to protect its lead in the second half as Salisbury pressed for the tying goal.  The Sea Gulls registered nine shots and six corner kicks after halftime, but the Osprey defense stiffened and Rogers made a key save by punching a header over the goal in the 80th minute to preserve the shutout for the 1-0 victory.
