The Stockton men’s soccer team held scoreless for the first time all season in a 2-0 loss to 14th-ranked Stevens.  The shutout ended a streak of 22 consecutive games in which the Ospreys had scored at least once.  Starting goalkeeper Brad Ferguson (Galloway/St. Joseph) played the first 58 minutes of the match and made two saves.  Tim McKenna (Sewell/Gloucester Catholic) saw action in goal for the final 32 minutes and recorded one save.
 
In the first half, Stockton held advantages of 6-5 in shots and 5-1 in corner kicks but Stevens scored on a header with just nine seconds remaining in the period for a 1-0 lead.  The one-goal margin lasted until deep into the second half before the Ducks netted an insurance goal at 86:01 for the 2-0 final score.  Pat Tolomeo (Ocean City/ Ocean City) was credited with a team-high three of Stockton’s 13 shots in the game.
