The Stockton volleyball team stayed close but could not overtake 21st-ranked Stevens in a 30-27, 30-22, 30-25 non-conference loss. Amanda Burkart (Cresskill/Cresskill) smacked a team-high 16 kills and scooped 11 digs in the match. Nicole Williams (Williamstown/Williamstown) notched eight kills and 12 digs while setter Christine Aletras (Ridgewood/Ridgewood) added team highs of 30 assists and 20 digs. The Ospreys battled hard and led early in each game before being overtaken by Stevens, who has a 26-1 record this season. |
