The Stockton volleyball team went 2-2 and finished third at the Susquehanna Crusader Classic over the weekend.  Christine Aletras (Ridgewood/Ridgewood) and Amanda Burkart (Cresskill/Cresskill) were named to the All-Tournament Team. 

 

On Friday, the Ospreys fell to York (PA) 30-21, 28-30, 30-27, 30-25 and were nipped by Catholic 22-30, 24-30, 30-25, 30-21, 18-16.  Stockton rebounded with wins over Susquehanna 29-31, 30-25, 30-20, 30-16 and Rowan 30-18, 30-19, 30-28 on Saturday.

 

Aletras totaled 191 assists in the four matches, including a season-high 59 helpers against Catholic.  Aletras also surpassed the 1,000-assist mark for the season and scooped 68 digs in the tournament.  Burkart was the team-leader in kills in three of the four matches for a total of 78 kills while Audrey O’Donnell (Bogota/Immaculate Heart) smacked a total of 66 kills for the Ospreys.
