The Stockton women’s soccer concluded the regular season with a 6-0 victory over Rutgers-Newark for its fifth consecutive win.  The Ospreys also pushed their unbeaten streak to 10 games (9-0-1), their longest since a 13-game run in 1998.  Amanda Altman (Beachwood/Toms River South) notched a hat trick, including two goals 38 second apart in the second half. 
 
Val Davison (Cranbury/Princeton) tallied a goal and an assist while Melissa Scully (Gloucester Twp./Highland) and Dana Romaine (West Deptford/West Deptford) also scored one goal apiece.  Romaine’s goal was the first of her college career.
 
Shelley Gibney (Shamong/Seneca) dished three assists and Courtney Dougherty (Ocean City/Ocean City) added two helpers.  Freshman Cassie DiPaolo (Manalapan/Manalapan) earned an assist on Stockton’s final goal for her first career point.  Starting goalie Alex Rogers (Medford/Shawnee) made six saves in 72 minutes and Melissa Stuhler (Williamstown/Williamstown) posted three stops in the last 18 minutes for a combined shutout.  The Ospreys scored three goals in each half of the 6-0 triumph.
