The Stockton field hockey team traveled to Frostburg State for its final road game of the 2007 season, but the Ospreys were blanked 4-0 for their sixth consecutive loss. Stockton goalkeeper Debi O’Kane (Cologne/Absegami) registered eight saves in the game and Samantha Horner (Newfield/ Buena) was credited with three of the team’s four shots.
O’Kane made six saves in the first half before Frostburg State took a 1-0 lead with just four seconds remaining in the period. The Bobcats broke the game open with three goals in the second half, including two just 1:19 apart at 64:33 and 65:52, for the 4-0 final score. |
