Women Second, Men Fourth at CTC Relays

Results 
The Stockton men’s and women’s indoor track & field teams opened the 2007-08 season by competing in the Collegiate Track Conference (CTC) Relays at Yale University.  The Stockton women’s team finished second out of 10 squads with 32 points and the Osprey men’s team placed fourth out of nine with 17.50 points.  Tony DeFeo (Mays Landing/ Oakcrest) won the men’s pole vault (4.40m) and Katelyn Reiter (Union/Union) won the women’s triple jump (9.74m).
 
Lisa Shepherd (Mays Landing/Oakcrest) finished second in the high jump (1.62m) and Ronika Eckart (Pt. Pleasant/ Pt. Pleasant Boro) tied for second in the long jump(5.06m).  The Ospreys also captured second place in the women’s 4x400 relay (4:21.58).  Victoria Barden (Bayville/ Central) placed third in the high jump (1.57m) as well as fourth in the pole vault (2.75m).  Stephanie Aromando (Newton/Kittatinny) finished third in the weight throw (14.15m).
 
In men’s competition, Stockton crossed the finish line third in the distance medley (11:04.93).  Jim Osenenko (West Creek/Pinelands) finished fifth in the long jump (5.94m) and tied for fifth place in the high jump (1.67m).
